Built from frustration with outbound itself.

SignalSharp was not built to make outreach faster or more automated. It was built to make it worth sending in the first place.

The problem we kept running into

While building AI products, we kept running into the same problem: we knew we needed to reach out to people, but the process felt increasingly broken. Good outreach required hours of manual research — reading interviews, scanning hiring pages, trying to understand whether there was a genuine reason to contact someone or whether we were simply forcing relevance because an outbound playbook told us to.

At the same time, the AI tools that were supposed to help made the problem worse. They confidently generated outreach that technically looked personalised but still felt wrong to send. We found ourselves staring at drafted messages thinking: if we received this ourselves, we would immediately know it was manufactured.

The real problem was not writing the message. It was deciding whether the message deserved to exist at all. That became the core insight behind SignalSharp.

OUR POSITION

"SignalSharp is not trying to help founders send more messages. It is trying to help them feel confident that the messages they do send are worth putting their name on."

What SignalSharp is — and is not

WHAT IT IS

  • A signal scanner and contextual reasoning engine
  • A legitimacy checker that tells you when not to send
  • A taste layer, not a volume layer
  • A system that learns you and stays accurate over time

WHAT IT IS NOT

  • An AI SDR or sequencing engine
  • A CRM or prospect database
  • A mass outbound platform
  • A tool optimised for outreach volume
